sinopsis:
Kore wa Zombie desu ka? se publica desde enero de 2009 y desde febrero de este año, tiene versión manga en la revista Dragon Age. En Kore wa Zombie desu ka?, Aikawa Ayumu es un estudiante de secundaria que muere a manos de un asesino en serie, y revive como zombie gracias a una nigromante llamada Eucliwood Hellscythe. Ayumu empieza a servir a Eu, como su guardia, y termina quitándole sus poderes a una magical girl llamada Haruna. Entonces, Haruna ordena a Ayumu luchar en su lugar contra un sistema anti-magical-girls llamado “Megalo”.

La edición de julio de la revista mensual Fujimi Shobo de Dragon Age es anuncio el jueves que una segunda temporada del anime Kore wa ka Zombie Desu? (Este es un zombi?) Ha dado luz verde. The Japanese publishing conglomerate Kadokawa announced on Monday that the 10th volume of Shinichi Kimura's original Kore wa Zombie desu ka? (Is This a Zombie?) light novel series will bundle its second original anime DVD in a limited edition next April. The included "Episode 0" for the upcoming second anime season will be about 24 minutes long. The limited edition will also come with an exclusive illustrated book cover and a tall case to contain the DVD.
The first anime season based on Shinichi Kimura's original light novel series aired in Japan from January to March. The eighth light novel volume bundled the franchise's first anime DVD in June. The Japanese publisher Kadokawa Shoten began streaming a 143-second promotional video that announces the title for the second anime season of Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? (Is This a Zombie?) on December 27. Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead will begin airing in Japan in April.
The video reveals that voice actress Iori Nomizu, who will reprise her role as Haruna, will perform the the theme song "***Passionate" for the new television anime. The video also features the "Koi no Beginner Nan Desu (T_T)" (I Am a Love Beginner) theme song by Rie Yamaguchi, who is also returning as Taeko Hiramatsu in Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead.
The new season's official website announced the series' tentative title as Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? Jigoku Hen (Is This a Zombie? Hell Arc) last June. The first anime season based on Shinichi Kimura's original light novel series aired in Japan from January to March of last year. The main staff is returning from the first season, including director Takaomi Kanasaki, series script supervisor Makoto Uezu, and writers Shigeru Morita and Touko Machida.

However, Ayumu is resurrected as a zombie by a necromancer girl named "Yū" (Eucliwood Hellscythe), who Ayumu had just met before dying. Ayumu then accidentally deprives the magical girl Haruna of her powers, so she demands that Ayumu take her place in fighting her enemy Megalo.
Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead's first Blu-ray and DVD release is slated for May 25 in Japan. The retail price of the Blu-ray version will be 7,980 yen (about US$100), and the limited and regular editions of the DVD version will retail at 6,930 yen (US$90) and 5,880 yen (US$76), respectively. The anime's second volume will ship in Japan on June 29 with similar versions for the same prices.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season outside Japan as it aired. Funimation also announced that it licensed the first season.
