Sinopsis:
serie animada producida por la Warner Bros. y basada en el superhéroe de DC Comics Batman.
La característica central de esta serie es que no sigue la continuidad de las historietas ni de la serie animada que se produjo anteriormente, incluyendo sus Spin-offs. Se destaca también por la animación de esta serie que posee un estilo similar al de Las Aventuras de Jackie Chan. Estos dos elementos han sido objeto de fuertes críticas en contra de esta serie en comparación con la anterior serie de Batman.
El tema inicial de la serie en las primeras temporadas fue creada por el guitarrista de U2 The Edge.
Fue estrenada en Kids' WB en Estados Unidos el 11 de septiembre de 2004. En Latinoamérica se estrenó el 3 de mayo de 2005 por Cartoon Network.
