Sinopsis
Cuarta temporada de esta serie. La historia se centra en un adolescente huérfano llamado Natsume Takashi. Natsume en apariencia sólo es un chico normal, pero tiene la habilidad de ver espíritus, un poder heredado de su abuela, Reiko. Tras su muerte, Reiko deja en herencia a su nieto sólo una pertenencia - el Libro de los Amigos, un libro que contiene los nombres de los espíritus que Reiko había intimidado para firmar un contrato y convertirse en su seguidor. Ahora, Natsume se dedica a liberar a los espíritus y disolver los contratos. Con la ayuda de Nyanco-sensei , este se dispone a devolver los nombres a los espíritus.Titulos Alternativos
