Morioka Kohei quiere convertirse en fotógrafo, pero en todas las fotos que echaba salían fantasmas. Cuando visitó un viejo castillo en Alemania, conoció a una chica vampira, Hazuki.

Hazuki estaba encerrada en el castillo, cuando entró Kohei en éste, intentó chupar la sangre de Kohei para hacerlo su esclavo, aunque no funcionó. Pero como Kohei por casualidad rompió el sello que la mantenía encerrada, Hazuki escapó del castillo y puso rumbo a Japón para buscar a su madre.

Cuando llegó a Japón, fue a la casa de Kohei donde éste vivía con su abuelo, y empezó a vivir con ellos a la fuerza, porque Kouhei había perdido a su madre en su niñez y Hazuki prometió ayudarle a buscarla. Pero entonces, otra chica vampira, Elfried, y el Conde Kinkell vinieron a Japón e intentaron traerla de vuelta.
