Sinopsis
Lawrence Craft es un vendedor ambulante que comercia con distintos bienes entre los pueblos a los que viaja. Al regresar al Pueblo de Pasroe, decide detenerse y descansar. En la noche encuentra a un "dios pagano", con la forma de una adolescente (Alrededor de 15 años) en su carreta, excepto por las orejas y cola de lobo que tiene. Ella le dice que su nombre es "Horo", y que los habitantes del pueblo habían hecho un pacto con ella para que mantuviera buenas cosechas. Sin embargo, le explica que quiere regresar a su pueblo natal "Yoitsu", y logra convencer a Lawrence de que la lleve con él durante sus viajes. "Spice and Wolf II" es la continuación de la precuela "Spice and Wolf", y se queda justo donde la anterior ha terminado.
